It's a country with a mix of Austronesian, Japanese, and french culture. It's pretty populated with a population of 130 million, most living in the gulf.

If the red are the only mountains and the green is fertile land than I'm pretty sure this place would be OP compared to Japan and the Philippines. Historically they would be the Japan of the pacific and Japan would be completely incorporated to them or a colony.

Unless the people of this imaginary island bred faster and were more aggressive, leading to them colonising japan and phillipines.

They don't have much of a opinion on them other then how people can live in such a cold place.
Well, they speak a Japonic language similar to Okinawan but with french loanwords on the main islands.
Idk, it's a pretty laid back but extroverted culture, Parents have been known to drag hikikomoris out of their room
But tectonic plates mean more gold and ore mines, also the capital was specifically rebuilt inland so the city would't get flooded after a earthquake.

what I think so of the faces may look like, thou the french influence isn't as strong out side the capital region

no the red is where people live, also most land is a sub topical forest so outside of the cities, it been a backwater til the last 200 or so, with a historically smaller population then japan til 60s/70s Japan did try to integrate them in 1600s, but Christianity became a poplar religion and the french took advantage of that
yes, from 1720-1945

ibb(dot)co(slash)QfT2Yc9 - I still deciding on the history, so not everything is correct.

What do you want to know?

are there any major tribes/ culture dominating certain areas like Jomon/Yayoi/Ainu and what is their native belief?

bump

Yeah, there difference in local culture, in fact, the island where kannawan is located been it own kingdom til 1600s, and there a independece movement akin to catalona. most "tribes" are located in the south western island's, some even speaking polynesians language, thou they have been slowly adopting a "modern" lifestyle.

I like to believe Brittany still exists. Doesn't belong to the French

Kosovo

absolute autism

And as far as native beliefs, tansisans followed animist beliefs and traditions, one of the most notable things is, that it's much more matriarchal then neighboring countries,

Also, christianity in tansisa is heavily synchronized with the local customs, since its was introduced by Jesuits who werent as concerned about mixing in a few pre Christian things, and then it mostly being spread by natived priests and priestess during the centery of shogunate rule.

i do but im nor very good at it
