what does 素早く回復した mean here? I'm not sure if it's beyond the scope of the context given, but I can't really think of how she "recovered" outside of it. Is it possibly referring to how she recovered from the guy's comment immediately before?
In the first place, is that conversation between Mamiya-kun and "me"? If it's so, it'd be naturally like that Kimika has been in silence for a while maybe because of the shock Mamiya gave her, and she is now going to strike back to him. But it seems it's no the case. It seems the conversation was held by Kimika and Mamiya, and maybe she "recovered quickly" from the shock from that both knife and gun were taken from Mamiya and he has no intention to give them back to her (because it's the compensation). >To be honest, I am also not quite confident about my explanation as to what that 素早く回復した means..
