Holy shit shut the fuck up. I cannot believe you just said that. How retarded can one person be. What part of houston have you seen - let me guess you’re from katy/woodlands/sugar land. I don’t know where to start with the stupidity of this comment.
Houston already fucking looks like that. literally go under 45 round downtown. go to Northside. Kashmir gardens. Magnolia park. 5th ward 3rd ward 4th ward... Like everything east of downtown except “EaDo” and most of what’s north and south of it. Houston has been blue for what, 20 odd years? The two best now black democrats are from Houston. Point of fact, Houston’s inner city is also getting more affluent and not less. What do you think the Innovation Corridor is gonna do?
Next you’re going to complain that soon they’re going to build too many petrochemical refineries round the port.

You might as well have just said “Antarctica is gonna be cold soon because of trump”

>NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO HOW DARE YOU LET HOMELESS PEOPLE LIVE IN PUBLIC WITH EVERYONE ELSE. WE NEED TO FORCE THEM TO LIVE IN A FAVELLA LIKE IN BASED BRASILIA OR KILL THEM LIKE IN IRAN!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

why tho?

N

If I'm ever going to kill my self I'm going to OD on heroin. Might as well go high as shit.

Yeah you're right I'm from Katy. Really I meant the greater Houston area was getting more blue but just said Houston since otherwise nobody would know what I was talking about. At any rate you are clearly young and its not false to say that homelessness has exploded in Houston since I was your age. I'm now living out in rural central Texas since I can't even stomach going near Katy. Katy was once a model city that was always under budget and with high education standards until the past so many years when its population increased, crime rates upped and its government board changed; now its no longer safe to walk around town. Houston once was almost exclusively a commuter city from places like Katy, so don't be fooled when you see Houston's averages in things like citizen education go up. Now Houston has some normal people living there instead of just low income, but drug and human trafficking is only going up which effects everywhere nearby. That area is only getting worse.

>Houston once was almost exclusively a commuter city from places like Katy,
for the wealthier white people out west, yes. A lot of that is because houston has geographically grown. Yes homelessness has gotten worse but, honestly, it’s always been bad. You cannot walk ten feet without running into a dozen junkies. Probably has a lot to do with a combination of katrina refugees, the mortgage crisis, and the extreme changes to midtown.
>low income people aren’t normal
Ah I see, how convenient. Never mind how old all those neighborhoods I mentioned are. Never mind that so many of them work in the factories and refineries that keep this city going. Lived here my whole fucking life and been all over this town and you can only have those delusions if you never lived in the city itself and only went to the west side, probably never went far from I-10. Whatever. I fucking hate listening to dipshits from katy tell me what houston is and has been like. It’s always retarded shit from people who barley saw any of it or interacted with it outside of their desk job.
More to the point you’re complaining like this hasn’t already happened. I’ll give you the drug and human trafficking. Katy is full of meth and gangs and prostitution. It’s fucking worse than a lot of the intercity for that.
Fuck hillary and fuck the houston dems. Dumb tribalist retards like you are why americas politics are so fucked. Besides the local democrats are pretty fucking conservative. Really doesn’t matter who anyone votes in to office anyway. Petrochemical, mining, and finance run this town, domestic and foreign. Real estate, the universities and now tech are big too, not to mention the pockets of industry that openly flaunt regulations. No matter how anyone votes that will always be true. And it’ll always have a shitload of human trafficking

>You cannot walk ten feet without running into a dozen junkies
I meant downtown specifically here, derp

Winners don't do drugs

Honestly you are pretty on the level I'll admit, but Houston really wasn't known for being much more then a commuter city. I get it, I get it. That is your city, but you really neglect to realize how much of a far cry Houston was from a more populated city. Quite a lot of Houston would be barren on the streets in midday, no cars or walkers. You say its been bad, but your problems could not be like that of normal inner city people until the greater Houston area's population boom. It's been at a much smaller scale then a non-commuting city until recently; that is to say Houston didn't have real inner city life until now. With that group also added to by the surrounding areas, Houston is getting more people that are common in blue areas and is also become a worse place to be in. Should I raise kids in the Houston area? Or is that objectively not a good idea anymore? There wasn't a chance of them seeing what OP posted until now a days.

I hope the tents and blankets from North Korea come soon for them

>Should I raise kids in the Houston area?
Wait about 7 years and then move inside the 610 loop. As long as they can get the innovation corridor off the ground inner houston is going to change a lot very soon.
I’ll admit you’re not wrong either - especially once you go back before the mid nineties. It’s definitely had a huge boom in the last two decades, which in the long view is recent

Id pump myself full of heroin too if I were American.
