Previous: Welcome to /extraflags/, a lovely spin-off of /flag/ except its a general for users with extra flags to discuss flags, extra flags, and autistic activities while funposting. don't have extra flags? get extra flags :^)
>What are extra flags? Extra Flags is an open-source plugin that adds regional flags, like states and provinces, to the already existing national flags on Zig Forums, Zig Forums, /sp/, and /bant/, by storing users' post number along with the selected regional flags, and retrieving it from a database when a thread is loaded. You can add your region's flag by requesting it on the GitLab page.
Everything I've said about my past is a made-up lie and you should forget about it because it is too embarassing
Joshua Miller
Its a mercy, you get paid well and leave back home to build a villa. Its just a coastal work station in the desert
Adam Reyes
like a feitoria trading post?
Jonathan Torres
Install the fawkin extension
Carson Nguyen
Yeah I have a friend who lives there, it's kind of a meme country. Care to install extra/flag/s by the way?
Bentley Edwards
>Tommy Tuberville shown to win the GOP senate nomination in a landslide >Supports mass H1B visa programs designed to deprive jobs from students like me >Endorsed by Donald Trump the blackpills just keep on coming lads i cant handle it anymore
Sebastian Clark
I swear if affirmative action passes in California in Nov im killing myself
Ryan Morgan
wdym he won? precincts just started reporting I don't like him or sessions but trump and sessions have beef over some gay shit, sessions would be a better senate member still
Blake Bennett
yes does my country has extra flags?
Hudson Morales
Absolutely Even my shitty irrelevant country has extra-flags
Easton Reed
/flag/ never forgets You're lucky that the disgust and vitriolic hatred for me on /flag/ overshadows yours even as a furry.
Hudson Gonzalez
Internal exit polls. I don't think you realize how bad Tuberville actually is. He wants at least one million H1B visa workers to take engineering jobs from people like me At this rate there's no point in me still going to uni, I won't be able to get a job let alone an internship because I'm white and male
Cameron Fisher
Lolno. I get treated as a god by furries whenever I mention I'm an oldfag. Also who are you
Wyatt Hall
the transgender unfortunately
John Stewart
yeah he's bad, hopefully he loses but we'll see
Xavier King

>According to an Economic Policy Institute’s comprehensive study concerned with the supply and demand of STEM graduates, findings indicate that for every two students graduating with STEM degrees from US colleges, only one is hired in a STEM job. That's quite a disconnect, especially if the training is rigorous. >“in computer and information science and in engineering, U.S. colleges graduate 50 percent more students than are hired into those fields each year.” It also concluded that there isn't a shortage of talent — and if there was, wages would have risen rather than remaining flat over the period in question. >Why is it relatively easy again for STEM-trained immigrants to get their green cards compared with non-STEM workers? Does labor really need these masters and PhD-laden workers when most jobs still only require a bachelors degree? >I'm confused. If we continue to staff US jobs with low-cost, H-1B immigrants, isn't this reverse offshoring? What difference does it make that the jobs themselves are on or come back to US soil if they aren't going to students who are preparing for them domestically? If our students can't compete educationally, strengthen the program — but then hire them. Maybe I'm missing something. If I am, enlighten me. eetimes.com/why-arent-our-stem-graduates-hired/#
Isaiah Morales
yeah h1bs are ass
Alexander Rogers
Predictable response. You're too old to change your mind about anything, so it's not worth it for anyone much younger to talk to you.
Jaxon Carter
I'm actually OK with transgender people. I just despise you in particular.
Ian Mitchell
I honestly don't see the point in continuing my degree, or even going to college for that matter. I feel completely alienated not only by institutions of higher education, but my own government and society as a whole. You managed to get lucky with the system, but most people who get engineering degrees are destined to work deli jobs.
Sebastian Jenkins
That's not what I was referring to. I knew you were fine with trannies in the first place.
Thomas Evans
idk anyone who graduated this spring (out of maybe 2 dozen people) who doesn't have a job right now despite the corona stuff, keep your head up
Justin Miller
I am eating tendies with some pop. feelin pretty comfy rn
I just feel like I'm being lied to. These numbers exist for a reason. They may have jobs but they have a 50/50 chance they're not even in STEM, which makes me think that they ended up having to work at Walmart in order to make end's meat. I just don't think the people who got screwed are as vocal as say, me.
not everyone in stem is in engineering fwiw, IT and cybersec are easily replaced. we're fighting the same fight when it comes to visas but not getting your degree won't help anyone
Elijah Bell
You don't know the full story and you won't understand it anyhow. You'll never change your mind even if my actions were greatly justified by the fact Sundby doxed me first on another site and caused much more damage. I forgive him now as I moved on from that game, but I think what I did here was nowhere near as bad as what he did on that community. And you still will say "ew" whenever I post and call me a freak because you've made up your mind.
Nolan Torres
Just google "H1B engineering jobs". Tons of options. We're really not fighting the same fight. You already have your job, and you will have job security on your side. I'm the one who really hurts from this, just as I'm the one who really hurts from affirmative action because I'm still in college. I just see no point in going on if so much is against me. i just want help, but my government hates me, just like women hate me and PoC hate me.
