looks exactly like my apartment, lived here for over 6 months and the only furniture i bought was an ikea desk and chair, a matress i leave on the floor, a small round dinner table and two chairs

Oh thats not even bad, I had two fedoraautists back in highschool who shared an apartment, they slept on deflated fucking air matresses. They didnt even care to inflate them (or more liekly they broke at some point). And it was just as dirty, smelly and full of mold, old food and shit as you imagine. I literally had better living standards then that when I didnt even have a home.

my room is a bit of a mess but I don't know how people live like that. Thanks for giving me the encouragement to vacuum

I started feeling a lot less miserable the day I took out 80% of the useless shit laying around in my bedroom and only left my keyboard and my bed, waking up in a room with only the essentials feels cozy

I always have my "go bag" ready and loaded with clothes, equipment and stuff I would need if I became homeless again.
