sadly 而 mostly served as conjunction to connect verb or adjective, the closest English definition for it would be “then” or “whereas”
you should use 暨 與 及 for noun case
also 我 is a very modern way for “i”, 吾 etc would be better

Korea Translation:

I always find it funny how East Asians called us barbaric and uncivilised, and when they got beat in war by a civ. with superior tech. and tactics, they still find some way to call us barbaric.

I'll admit I can't speak 臺語 because I was mostly raised in the states and my parents/grandparents all speak Mandarin.
But in the end I'm actually Taiwanese, you are just some dumb English teacher larping online.

If I recall my readings correctly, Vietnamese used to identify themselves as Hua people, with Chinese being northerners and Vietnamese southerners.
