There are 5 categories for unemployment in France (A to E), and the international standards correspond to cat A only. If you add cat B to E, the total number for unemployment almost doubles.

Sweden and Finland take the welfare system very seriously. Everyone should have a safety net to land in if they get fired or can't find a job etc. Or if a person is too sick to work.
Now I'm just a lazy fucking shithead so I'm cheating the system in about 400 different ways but most people don't want to live on welfare and only use it if they absolutely have to.
