Best time of my life.
I remember our country being more laid-back, college, visiting the US a lot, playing a lot of shareware DOS games, trying to find a job, having and leaving my first long-term love, binging cartoons like The Ren & Stimpy Show, Rocko's Modern Life, Pinky and the Brain (I have always been a cartoon-head), skateboarding around downtown Montevideo, partying, rollerskating, listening to a lot of rock, acting rebellious... That's about the stuff I remember the most about the 90's.

Turkey in 90s was literally like Afghanistan. There were a couple of terrorist groups -jihadists, Kurdish separatists-. There was so huge conflict in all of the country. The army, polices, state were using unbalanced force.
