kazakhstan isn't that poor. turkmenistan also isn't that poor and their like a closed dictatorship. the remaining countries have a total population similar to algeria. so the total population of peope wanting to emigrate isn't that high compared to mena and it's also harder to emigrate from central asia.

Turkmenistan is a turbo police state where everyone is too poor to migrate and on heroin 24/7. Uzbekistan can't let people escape because they need child slave labor to perform cotton harvesting. The rest have SCO backed mafia leaders preventing people from getting out because dissidents would be able to organise abroad. I guess Kazakhstan is sort of stable?
