Now that the dust has settled, can we all agree Brexit was a bad idea?

What's wrong with pro eurofags ITT ?

I feel bad because it was nice to have someone else balancing the Franco German influence, and I generally like brits, but the reality is they never really believed in the project and mostly were a bunch of joos who just voted and vetoed every proposal in base of their only personal interest. For example, I highly doubt we would have seen huge results of cooperation between countries like in the past week if the UK were still involved in the EU.

I admired the fact they always stated, from the very beginning, that they were in the EU only for the benefits, and that in no way were up to further integration with the other countries, and they showed it when they simply decided to leave when things weren't as favorable in the past. Much more honest than the dutchies, Austrians or the other "frugals", and the deadweights in East Europe

ugh... what could have been

It will be a huge positive over the long term

>implying we have a long-term EU strategy and we aren't just making shit up as it happens

No, it's good for the EU in the long run. Anglos would always demand special treatment, they have that our island vs the world mentality.
