Good luck getting a real answer. I posted the same question in the past and I never got anything.

I've been there. Everyone is extremely passive aggressive. They are very picky about little rules. If you go in the wrong line or do some procedure out of order they will get visibly mad at you. They won't say anything though, they'll just make a very angry face and jerky movements with their. Maybe they'll whisper something ending in "kudasai" if they think you know Japanese.

My guess is most foreigners going there simply never pick up on this anger towards them because they don't know Japanese and they aren't used to people being indirect. So they come back thinking everyone was so polite. I've never been treated so rudely so consistently anywhere else though.

The girls will have sex with you though.

Longtime work to lost soul

Yeah, I went there for a one week vacation and generally felt this vibe too. It was really subtle, but it was there. It felt like a really mellow, really understated Glengarry Glen Ross if that makes any sense. This was Tokyo if it matters.

You have to kill your smell
You have to make a grin everyday

I’m curious if some parts of Japan are more laid back than others. Tokyo seems pretty high strung but there’s got to be some chill surf cities or something.

They must be too afraid to show their true feeling since they know it will make them look awful. But that's just softcore denial believing only showing the true colors matters in a persons image. I thought it was fairly common in the world since it occurs in my area but there's more cultural background for Japan's case from what I understand. If there's the unlikely chance an actual native can give better insight on this I would be interested.

>particular about everything the most
example?

Japanese never show true feelings if someone irritates them, they will act polite and kind even if they wish you died off this planet.

They aren't afraid of "showing their true feeling." They clearly wanted me to know that they are mad at me. But they don't want to do it directly because that would cause a scene and be breaking the rules of their culture.

You already have a native telling you basically the same thing about this common attitude there. It's your choice whether to believe it or not I guess.

Quintessential beta behaviour.

Lived in Japan for 2 years. Best years of my life. Wish I could go back

Zig Forums is really dying

Your country is filled with passive aggressive cunts, cope

What did you like it about it and why haven’t you gone back?

I liked how clean it was and peaceful. Never had to worry about locking the door to my apartment. No need to buy a car because public transportation was decent. Haven't gone back because I'm no longer stationed there lol.

Why is it like this?

I’ve wanted to visit this place for so long and I’m already 27. It’s like it’s never gonna happen.

because japan hardly accepts immigrants, easy question

Why not? Just get a passport and go. Or hell, do the Davido thing and become an English teacher.
