This, actually had a chat about it with my black gf and she was like "it can be offensive but otherwise it's whatever"
It looks like a yes but it's a no, there's this weird sort of white savior mentality and it loops back around into trying too hard and not actually being respectful (or even beneficial) at all, despite paying a lot of lip service.

I had seen one black woman working as a clerk at a convenience store in my neighborhood but that's it.
In the vibrant areas of Seoul you'd spot one or two black people a day. I bet you'd have a lot harder time finding blacks in other cities.
