let's discuss how to carve up the solar system and laugh at spacelets

We launched a pole into space and nobody beat us yet

>Czech space agency

Europe has no other space agency than the French one. France just invited other countries to invest in its program.

I'm proud our country help Europe to access the spatial era, but you know it's mostly a European thing know, for many years, research, money and spaceship building, even if still heavily located in france, are deeply shared with Germany, Italy... And all the EU cunts.
France is not a country anymore, this is not the 20th century. We are all European know

Emmanuel ??

JVPITER?

There's no such thing as an independent brazilian space agency, not anymore.

>not anymore
this need further explanations

Come home monkey bro.

>We are the only cunt to develop satellite launching capability and then give it up

Makes me seethe.

At least we're getting two mildly unuseful space launch sites.

Recently a private company tested the first rocket engine fully designed in spain. It was pretty neat. I hope it goes well for them. They aren't going to produce spaceX tier rockets tho, only smol rockets.

The united states now control and oversee our launching base, they also manage the base security including the security cameras and have integral acess to data servers but we don't have the same acess to their activities there. They will only share with us the technology they want to (if they want to) and we will eventually just become an american client state for spacecraft technology.

Where ?

That's neat.

One traditional rocket launch site in Scotland, and a horizontal takeoff site in Cornwall

I though rocket launching where only successfull near the equateur or something? How is it possible for you guys to launch efficiencly rockets?

reason why they surrendered

You can launch from anywhere but it will usually be more efficient the closest to the equator.

There are actually plans for Spain to have a small launch site in the Canary Islands, for example.

I think you can launch low orbit satellites from just about anywhere, but yeah ideally you want it to be as close to the equator as possible.

If it weren't for the military base we should have put it on Ascension Island

Friendly reminder that China was banned from the ISS but Italy might still be invited in their future space station because we are not like the other evil westerners.

this is never happen, not yet, need to pass in constution first, why you lying here?

Probably Skylon, the tech is there it's just a case of assembling it.

They're building a full scale engine right now which is due for testing next year.

There was also talk of piggy backing rockets on jet liners to launch satellites. I've no idea how practical that would ever be.

By launching at the equator you save a lot of fuel because the earth rotates faster. Its that much less speed you need to get into orbit.
And I think its easier to maneuver in space from an equator orbit than others

It was approved last year if you're not aware yet.

This is actually very interesting, thanks for saying that I'll look up on this.

Ok, well I though it was only possible from equator

I see, thanks for the explanation

HOLY BASED

USA, China, Russia, India and France are the only countries able to launch shit into space. Everyone else is just LARPing.
