Olivia Kauppthing from Espoo city bought an Apple laptop.
She is in high school and she needed a laptop for Abitti student environment where the tests and exams are done. However Abitti is a Linux designed in Finland, it is not Windows.
Turns out Apple did not support a touchpad on this Abitti environment, it stopped responding.
The girl got frustrated, she paid lots of money for Apple Mac and now the touchpad doesnt work except in the Macintosh OS where Abitti software won't work.
Why does a touchpad work in a Apple OS but not with Linux kernel? Nobody knows. She tried to contact Apple and they said: "just wait for an update".
She is using a loaned laptop now: the school had old thinkpads laying around and those support Linux pretty good.

Who knows? I got an iPad for a birthday present once from my aunt and it was the worst piece of shit I have ever owned. Why can't I just plug it in my computer and copy paste files in it? No you have to use this piece of shit itunes garbage to do anything.
