Depends on your definition of an ethnic group. If all Arab speaking people are a part of the Arabic ethnicity, wouldn't that make all Anglophone people also one ethnicity? I personally think that there is a continuum of linguistic Arabs and ethnic ones. To me it's obvious that people in Morocco, Sudan or Lebanon are less "Arabic" than someone from Saudi Arabia.
