I think that /éire/ is a containment board for Scots and that the Jannys are in on it. He never gets banned from here even though he rarely has anything good to contribute, when you see him in other threads other posters seem to recognise him and tell him to fuck off. Now maybe the jannys have tried banning Scots before and it hasn't worked but I think there is something fishy going on.

"Tomboy" is a coomer meme close to autogynephilia, or from stunted expectations of women.
The concept properly refers to juveniles who haven't yet accustomed to the standards of behaviour, grooming, and distance from males that is expected of post-pubescent women. It can be endearing to witness because it's a neotenous holdover from the innocence of early childhood when girls and boys playing together is more common and appropriate. It's probably in romantic reminiscing about that period in their own lives that men who fetishise the "tomboy" get the concept from.
Adult women who hold the superficial traits attributed to the "tomboy" by these weirdos aren't actually perceived as the same thing as their "tomboy" ideal.
Women who aren't accustomed to wear makeup and dress with a female sense of fashion are just called frumpy. Women who have more male friends than female friends are sluts, fag hags, or autists. Women who can't relate to other women are simply seen as deficient (to some extent rightly).
Women with short hair and masculine clothing are part of the normal fashion these days. Women who are athletic are a different phenomenon from all the other stuff mentioned, and if there's any overlap with the "tomboy" ideal, it's either the masculine features that make women better athletes than other women, or evocative of the fetishists' schoolyard days where girls were rough and tumble and played sports. Women have an even sharper drop in accessibility of organised sports after school than men do, after all. And it's about sports more than individual fitness. The gym bunny stereotype is a girly girl, "tomboy" specifically wants sports.
