They’re going to ask for the ideal not what they actually expect to get. I think it’s just hard right now because there’s more applicants then jobs and if you’re just applying online you’re just sending your resume into a black hole. You need to cold email and network while casting a wide net and target entry level jobs. Be sure to show off your projects on your resume even though c++ isn’t as in high demand as it used to be its something.

Data science is different from data analytics. Ds will want a master’s and experience as a minimum requirement.
