DJT is the best Japanese language learning hololive shitposting thread on Zig Forums for むっつりスケベ共 that are interested in everything Japanese
Japanese speakers learning English are welcome as well

How to learn Japanese:
1.Don't waste time/money on garbage like:
-All textbooks like Genki, RTK etc.
-All mnemonics like KLCC, Kanji Damage etc.
-All online courses like Wanikani, Duolingo etc.
-All language schools, classrooms etc.
-Shitty youtube channels (all english ones, 日本語の森 is good)
-Awful anki decks(only 2k/6k from the OP and a simple yomichan mining deck are good)
-Spending 20 hours on Anki daily (you shouldn't spend more than 1-2 hours as a beginner and 30 minutes max after a few months, spamming easy is fine)
-JLPT, Kanji Kentei tests etc.
-Pitch accent(doesn't actually exist, you can say words however the fuck you want)
-Learning how to write on paper (if you really want to waste time on this do it later once you know the basics)
Avoiding these beginner traps will cut down your learning time considerably to less than 5 years if you learn every day and never give up

3.Spend a few days getting familiar with hiragana and katakana
4.A few months of Anki 6k vocabulary and your favorite grammar guide while reading something easy on the side
5.A few years of reading, watching hololive, googling stuff you don't know and you're done!
6.Realize there's always more to learn and the ride never ends

>let's just let this one die in the night and get a proper thread up
>対象 is a grammatical definition, but more like a philosophical one
I mean it refers to the logic of the words, which is what grammatical definitions are kinda based on, no?
Or what would you say the subject is in 私はご飯が食べたい。
>you will only find 主語 on that page
But only for an entirely different usage~

Hello friends,

Can anyone help me figure out what this says? It used to belong to my grandfather and is quite old. He traveled the world extensively when he was young and would bring home relics and interesting finds

>私はご飯が食べたい
ご飯?
食べたい is an adjective which describes my feeling towards ご飯, isn't it?

ご飯, and what is it according to you?

That's Chinese I think
I don't know Chinese, but tried to transcript it
>一夜花房似守宮付青誰為寫緋客却疑卯酒傷多後絹帳春寒睡正濃
Some were hard to read (like the third one), so some are definitely wrong, but 90% should be good.
I guess it's just some proverb or a poetic sentence

Oh you're right, I was mixing up topic and subject~

But at least the point about the 属格 が wasn't wrong :^)

How do you say 床オナ in English?
床オナ means the masturbation which is the way you rub your dick against the floor without using hands and get ecstasy

>floor-humping

Thanks!

>class clown's gym routine

Fuckk you now I'm horny and need to fuck my wardrobe

The poem is
>一夜花房似守宮,丹青誰為寫緋容,卻疑卯酒傷多後,絹帳春寒睡正濃。
and it's in classical Chinese but I think it's from a later period than I'm used to so it's hard for me to figure out parts of it

I think the first two lines are probably
>one night the flower house resembles a gecko
>for whom do the blue and red draw their scarlet countenance
the third line I think is something about drinking in the morning but it's too hard for me
and the last line I think is probably something like
>behind silk curtains in the spring cold my sleep is truly deep

but I'm just a retard and if you ask in /lang/ or something where there's people who actually study Chinese they could probably give you a better answer

>I'm just a retard
No you aren't~

i heard that song ages ago

Watch Japanese cinema instead. Ozu's work deserves love.

What do you recommend? I like Akira Kurosawa, obviously, but haven't tried much except him.
I usually prefer movies too, but I started this anime so I want to finish it, because I delay it
