could your country's cuisine exist without potatoes?
Could your country's cuisine exist without potatoes?
We were the ones who brought it to Europe yet for some reason we're nowhere near as addicted to it as east euros
yes
I don't want to live in a world where there are no potatoes.
nope
Asshole.
Good now go choke on olives and coconuts.
no and it desperately shows
old pe*ple refuse to eat anything without it because it's all they ate when growing so they didn't starve
no, potato is the lifegiver
Yes, we ate rovor long before we had potatoes. It's like potatoes but it's not.
ur ugly
highly yes and still shit tier.
Yes, but rovor are still superior.
we use them, they're just not essential
why are you so fat
not at all lmao
Because food and beer is good.
We mostly eat spaghetti so yeah
Shockingly soulless.
Impossible
I eat potatoes every other day but they aren't an essential component of our cuisine
Potato-rize
New potatoes are delicious, but I don't personally really bother with them otherwise. But I suppose in general it's a pretty common component in dishes
No. Potato is feed me and i Eat the potato because its the only thing in the Britain that grows in the ground i Can eat and I eat potateo and potota is good and tasty
>New potatoes
What's wrong with old potatoes? Why they gotta be new?
Thank my country for the potatoes
The new potatoes are smol and fresh, they taste way better than the ones that have been sitting in a warehouse for months. Plus you can only get them during summer so I suppose that adds a psychological desirability to them as well. Boil them with a bit of dill and add some butter on them, and they're delicious
Nope, I should eat them more often! Traditional Dutch peasant food is mostly vegetables mashed with potatoes with some meat on the side. It's actually rather fulfilling. Might be the reason I really like British food, it serves its purpose wonderfully.
Yes. Northerners normally use flour (mlinci) instead of potatoes. In the south, cooked potatoes with beets are the most common side dish, but I think beets could do without potatoes.
no we dont
Really?
lol i wouldnt survive without goulash
based
Lmao what would have happened to you guys if the Spaniards would have never brought potatoes to your land?
yes
Gulaš is great. To be perfectly honest, I only eat meat in stews. Also, something I really liked while I was in Zagreb was leek stew. I had not tried it before. It is not as good as bean stew, in my opinion, but it is still very good.
Potato isn't even native to europe.
