No, I don't listen to Oasis.

I remember an American on Zig Forums made a thread about Oasis being a psyop because they became popular there with a few songs and then were never heard of again.

just want to say that this is a good song
that's all

Manchester represent

Searched the archives and the schizo is doing it years later: archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/text/Oasis psyop/

No, can't say I've ever heard it.

He makes a compelling argument

>157 million views
>ones of the most famous 90s bands
>have you ever heard this song

John Lennon
No, it’s genuine autism. Pretty much rvery working class British teenager has listened to Oasis a fair amount. I’m 19 and they’re still immensely popular and most people like them. Americans just think Oasis is weird because they’re a rock band that became popular in the 1990s when rock music was going out of fashion in America.

IM FEEEEEELING SUPERSONIC
GIVE ME GIN AND TONIC

Lel what a stupid thread pastanigger. Most people know Oasis. I guess little Tide pod-eating smartphone addicted zoomies and shitskins here never have, but I’m a white millennial.

The radio stations still play Oasis songs occasionally, mostly Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova though

never heard this before

America had rock music in the 90s, we were just preoccupied by grunge for the first half of the 90s and nu-metal for the second half.

Meanwhile the British were listening to happy music for some reason, which I find kind of gay.

The late 70s and 80s had way better British music because it was filled with despair.

I bought an Epiphone Dot just because of this band. I had a massive embarrassing Oasis phase to the point every time I suddenly remember it I want to kill myself.

Yes, they've said so in many interviews.

Yes.

Best Oasis song coming through

I have lotsa gigabytes of their stuff, including rare releases

Morning Glory is one of their best songs, but it's basically an REM rip-off

Acquiesce, Some Might Say and Live Forever are great songs, and Noel Gallagher's solo covers of both the band's own songs and others (such as those by Paul Weller or the Beatles) are brilliant

yes.

I've got the recording of Liam singing don't look back in anger

Seriously though, Oasis b-sides are better than a lot of band's main stuff out there
