Japanese speakers learning English are welcome, too.

hi guys, do you know any japanese recipe that is filling and easy to prepare while backpacking that doesn't involve noodles?

たまごかけごはん

>Earlier this year
>Buckle down and start studying Japanese really hard
>Learn about 1000 Kanji, stroke order and meaning
>Start learning grammar
>Can read or at least understand basic Japanese sentences
>What an amazing feeling
>Life comes up and like a weakling I stop studying
>Been a few months now and barely remember anything

Not even the first time this has happened to me either. I have been trying to learn this fucking language for like 5 years and always quit. Each time I get better though. By the time I'm 65 I'll basically be fluent.

Why do you feel the need to reply to me?

>I stop studying
Might wanna stop doing that~

おはよう!

thank you

おはようございます

You're welcome :)

Did you wake up early? Or staying up late?

>499 cards in 159 minutes
Stupid Anki gave me another day after I moved the reset around

文法いやだ。

>すぐ____ね。[帰る]
>right answer: 帰って来て

Why does the 来る need to end in て?

because it's a request

日本の女の子が大好きです。毎週8回ゼクスをします。安倍さまありがとうございます。

おー、バザド

安倍さまは私にお金もらいました。ゼクスのサラリあります、100'000円.安倍さまは1番バサドなウインッグマン。

ずっと昔から知ってる大好きな弟くんだから。そんなあなたの初めての相手は、私じゃないと嫌だなって、そう思ったの

So I can say 女の子 to refer to women of age just like I can in english huh? Good news. This post would be no good otherwise. I memorized it as "woman"

At least it's okay to use it like that here on Kyushu.

Whats /jpg/'s opinion on the Genki textbooks?

better used in a classroom setting
much much slower than if you had just study by yourself using other resources

generally the people around here (including me) don't like to use textbooks, but as far as i can tell it's supposed to be one of the better ones
