my whole city is a ghetto
we have the large commieblocks all around this housing section, but the city is all made up of public housing sections that rub up against each other
population about 70k, ethnic diversity is White British (main), then Polish/Eastern European, then Arab/Muslim/North African then black
everyone here regardless of race/ethnicity is poor and does crime but the whites and Poles have very visual beef, but the Muslims/Blacks aren't even considered apart of society despite they work harder than the whites (not Poles (they are not white)

Buraku problems got really better in the past four decades but there are still quite a few areas where discrimination is going on, especially in kansai region.

They shut down most of the mental asylums etc and everyone got released. Police gave up and just keep them confined to this neighborhood now.
