You're reading it wrong; each race/gender combination gave their own race preference but not their gender preference.
E.g. out of all white males that were asked, roughly 75% find whites the most attractive.
While it is true they could have interviewed only like 10 black guys for this chart, out of those 10 4 find whites the most attractive (actual numbers make this unlikely though unless the chart has fraudulent rounding).
You should still just discard the chart though because it has no source.
