What makes the US west coast so much better than the US east coast?

It’s not. I’ll grant you the nature is pretty great but that’s about it. You have what should be extremely awesome places and somehow they manage turn them into shit. I still kind of like Washington but that like is rapidly eroding.

Nah. That’s a normie tier take. Gulf coast has some really great beach towns and some really remote spots where you can live the cozy water cabin life.

I've been to Virginia in the past because of my ex. Keep in mind I was in Glen Allen so it had more of a small town feel. The people were nice except for the boomers mostly because I'd hold hands with my ex. The food is nice especially the BBQ along with some tea to drink afterwards. It looks absolutely beautiful with all the trees around. The weather was bipolar as fuck with one day being bright and cool and another it's pouring like crazy. It's a romantic place where even doing simple things like cuddling gives you a huge warm fuzzy feeling. Aside from that I feel like I didn't belong the Southwest is what I'm used to.

Tampa is pretty nice, than there is Mobile, New Orleans and Corpus Christi.
I guess you could consider houston "South Coast" but its not on the coast.
