But didn't the Russians give you Ladas?

>Russians

Good joke

Literally why would spain need all these motorways, I thought Spain was very densely populated in the cities?

fug :DDDD

soon :D

To travel between cities, dummy.

they build housing neighborhoods with a parking space for every 3rd apartment
what do you expect

highways are a big economic boon 2bh, goods can be transported faster between cities etc

>Still cannot into space
Pathetic.

2021 will be a big year, +540km if things go smoothly
very cool map: ssc.siskom.waw.pl/eng.html

>that explosion after 2004

Waiting periods for a car were 10-15 years in eastern germany, and that was one of the most developed socialist countries. I guess it was probably worse in eastern europe.

Polish highways are in better shape and have fewer traffic jams than the german Autobahn, not even joking

Makes sense, they are newer

Yeah less wear and tear on them because poles can't afford cars

Yeah, it makes sense but I was still surprised when I travelled to Lublin.

>contrololled

retard you have no idea what you're talking about
after the fall off communism everyone was blindly obsessed with the idea of wanting a car as a status symbol

ebin :DDDDDDD

>new infrastructure used by few is in good shape
HOLD THE PRESSES

They'll just come here to steal ours

being late to the party we can also take advantage of new materials / building technology, so the roads could last longer, similar to how romania has the best internet speeds in europe now

i don't know if it's the case here, but i hope it is :D

Are Polish freeways expensive?

Comparing it to other European countries, we must objectively admit that they are even very expensive - especially in relation to our earnings. Unfortunately, this is a result of the fact that the state has given the management of many sections of freeways to private companies, which have quite a lot of freedom in setting rates. On average, they are more than three times higher than on non-concession freeways.

Why is it so? Because the maintenance of freeways costs money, and the state wanted to relinquish this obligation from its shoulders. The problem is that service from private companies is very expensive and the whole system of freeway concessions is very controversial. Unfortunately, nothing will change in this respect in the coming years because, for example, Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. has a concession for A2 until 2037!

What are the prices of freeways in other countries?

Polish freeways are more expensive than for example in Switzerland. Residents of this rich country can buy an annual vignette for about 140 zlotys - much more we have to pay for the journey from Warsaw to Swiecko and back! It is cheaper in the Czech Republic, where an annual vignette costs about 230 PLN.

You can drive for free on freeways in Germany (the scenario of introducing 10-day vignettes from autumn 2017 did not come true), Great Britain, Belgium, Sweden and Finland.

>the state has given the management of many sections of freeways to private companies
nice, we ancap now
