I swear I don't know, I only started visiting last year and got instantly addicted, I spend like 8 hours a day on here.
Probably because the discourse is completely anonymous and uncensored, it has a powerful effect on my suppressed true self

Personally im addicted to "elite" content. Word elite doesn't mean better than others i just mean that there is so many interesting information you can get. For example i found a lot of good literature for my main profession. There is also a lot of unfiltered information and other stuff that you just can't find on the internet.
