when will I be ready to attend mass? I'm extremely socially anxious and am scared of going.
what do you mean? are you converting to catholicism?
novus ordo or traditional?
>when will I be ready to attend mass?
after coronavirus hopefully, not before. Try online meeting to get a early taste of it and maybe friends in the church in the process. I'm no christian tho. But usually a catholic church in a smaller town traditionally act has a social hub, making the religion more solid and immersive. If you're alone in there, you're just going to get bored within minutes. You can't expect to get fresh new philosophical knowledge on relighion every week. We're human after all.
Born into it and baptized, but didn't go past age 9, even then only went during holidays like christmas and easter. Literally have no idea what to do there. I just want to be part of the parish so I can send my kids to catholic school and have them grow up into it.
???
comfy

there are two sets of liturgy within the catholic church. Novus Ordo and traditional latin mass.
First one is spoken in your local language and was created in the 60's to modernize the church
Second one is the traditional Latin mass that has been unchanged since the 16th century i believe?
first one is way more common, but to my expierence only old people go to those (situation could be different there of course). i prefer the traditional latin mass because i feel that it is more respectfull to god and it pushes me to be more devout. Also it is just more beautiful.
