Shut up
It doesn't matter if it's an actual expression in Chinese. That professor needs to be sensitive about the fact that it sounds like the n word
>
>Imagine being this cuck level 100
niggardly behavior from those that are responsible
>It doesn't matter if it's an actual expression in Chinese. That professor needs to be sensitive about the fact that it sounds like the n word
Reminds me of that video where a jogger chimps out in South Korea at some old woman who said "niga" ("you're") to him
the negroid needs to be sensitive to the fact that the world doesnt revolve around a brief part of their irrelevant existence
It's a communications course where what words are being used by foreign languages is directly relevant to the teaching material. How is he supposed to teach if he can't use a true example from one of the most widely spoken languages on earth?

>this retarded video became reality in under a month
Clown world
Are you saying the Chinese language is not flexible enough to express thoughts without a single word that sounds like the n-word? Apparently the n word in the Chinese language isn't an actual word, it's just a filler word. The black students told the professor that the word was offensive and he did it anyway probably because he's a racist piece of shit
>Chinese
>Flexible
Chose one
The topic at hand was literally filler words of course it is a filler word
>Professor Greg Patton was giving a virtual Zoom class to his students at the University of Southern California discussing how different cultures use filler words instead of “ums and errs” to take pauses while talking.
It is a very common filler word at that too
>“In China, the common word is ‘that” — that, that, that,” he said. “So in China it might be ‘nèi ge’ — ‘nèi ge, nèi ge, nèi ge,” he said.
>“Our mental health has been affected,” the group complained. “It is an uneasy feeling allowing him to have the power over our grades.
So are these white people being fragile or are blacks really this sensitive?
And why did he happen to use an example from Chinese? Why didn't he use examples from the thousands of other languages in the world?
so WHAT is that said word?
What a drag
If I said これ 苦!kore niga!! (this taste is bitter!)once do I get fired ?
Please don't come to Japan niggar
Because that's his field of expertise, retard
Did you even read the article? The guy is clearly a fluent Mandarin speaker
>Patton has been teaching at USC Marshall for more than 20 years, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is a member of USC US-China Institute, and has taught several courses at Jiao Tong University in Shanghai.
呢個, which in many accents of Mandarin is pronounced nay guh, meaning "that one", complimentary to 這個 zhuh guh, "this one", both are used as filler depending on sentence context
Its fine. My life went to tatters because of this faggot country, and now the whole goddamn thing is crashing down. ahhh hah
Either he is trolling, either he is completely in his world and his neurosis and you can’t change his mind

>呢個, which in many accents of Mandarin is pronounced nay guh

Chink
>latimes.com
>The next day a group of Black master’s candidates in the class of 2022 wrote a letter to Marshall Dean Geoffrey Garrett.
>“There are over 10,000 characters in the Chinese written language and to use this phrase ... is hurtful and unacceptable to our USC Marshall community,” the letter said. “The negligence and disregard displayed by our professor was very clear.”
the latter
>west coast on fire, quake overdue
>south getting HURRICANED
>winter around the corner
I gotta get out of here
It's more nah-yee-guh
nigs are too stupid to understand the difference. their grasp on language is so tenuous, don't have high expectations.
nay guh, not nay guy
and it does sound like nigger to a non Chinese speaker, I don't fault them for that part
there are over 10,000 characters but filler words are very rare. he used the most appropriate and most common example. it covers most situations and is often used by Mandarin speakers in real life

Yao Ming almost got cancelled in the NBA for saying nig ger.
Fuck Nihaos!
Niggers in the US are going to get their shit pushed so hard when asians and hispanic get fed up with that jewish pc and white guilt bullshit.
I am just glad Americans haven't figured this one out yet
那一個 nah yee guh is the full phrase for use as a part of a normal sentence. many mandarin accents blend the sound into the shorter nay guh for convenience and speed though, while in written form you might shorten it to 那個 nah guh, but you hardly ever hear the latter in real usage because it's like speaking english without using apostrophe words
