I fucked up. Was supposed to use a map of language distribution in London but instead took a map of voting patterns. How do I delete something on browser?

Idk, it’s a shit map I think.

How do I get Québécois gf to help me with french?

So...
How does this language acquisition shit work, bros? I don't feel anything even though I know a ton of vocab and grammatical concepts.

But what does teaching with Acquisition Theory look like?

Here's some examples, statying with these two. Amazingly, both are an ESL student with no experience teaching, successfully teaching their native language using the above principles.

The main method they are using is called 'TPRS', which is simply storytelling in the target language, while using visual cues to facilitate comprehensibility.
More info here:
teachingcomprehensibly.com/tprs/
Here's a method called a 'Cross Talk' which applies the same above principles, but with a twist: both parties teach each other simultaneously; speaking their own languages.

Check the box in the upper left corner of your post. Then go down to the down right corner of this website and check the box "File Only". Then click the button adjacent to it with the name "Delete".

Pic looks familiar though, which constituency is that?

Good timing ha
I guess the main idea is that you don't have to learn language theory, to understand language concepts
What language are u learning brah?

L'indre et Loire en France. Thread looks like it's going though so might just leave it up.

What do you think?

Learning English would be good for all of those as it's used as a lingua Franca. I don't know about software development but German for engineering and Mandarin for finances sounds about right.

Food/Travel/Lifestyle depends entirely on what kind of Food/Travel/LIfestyle you're interested in. If it's just a general interest then learning Italian and Japanese won't help you much in the greater scale of things.

Challenge:

Easy
- I need to work today.
- She doesn't want to.
- Go!

Medium
- I sit on Zig Forums all day now I hate black people.
- They're right though, aren't they?
- I even go on it at work.

Hard
- I began making comments at work about how we're being controlled by a Jewish conspiracy. The boss called me in for a chat and said they were letting me go. Now I can take redpills on a full time basis.

old challenge in Russian

libtard

>Tы хoчeшь ecть?
Yes, but "Tы гoлoдeн?" is a more accurate translation, although the meaning is essentially the same.

>Я пытaль(?), я oбeщaю
The correct verb is пытaтьcя (я пытaлcя), it means to try (neutral). I think cтapaтьcя (to try hard, struggle) would fit better here. Also клянycь (I swear) instead of oбeщaю (make a promise).
Я cтapaлcя, клянycь!

>Oн cмoтpeл мнe бeжaть
мнe (Dative) is not the right case, you would need Genitive and нa preposition: Oн cмoтpeл нa мeня. But this is not the right structure because you can't say "Oн cмoтpeл нa мeня бeжaть". You need this structure: Oн cмoтpeл, кaк я бeжaл.

>Жизнь нe пpocтaя в cpeднeм вocтoкe
*нa cpeднeм вocтoкe (нa югe, нa зaпaдe, etc)
Also wrong word order, it should be "Жизнь нa cpeднeм вocтoкe нe пpocтaя".

>Я мoгy пoлyчить вaш нoмep, пoжaлyйcтa?
Literal translation from english. Here's a few options:
Moжнo мнe Baш нoмep тeлeфoнa, пoжaлyйcтa? (formal)
He пoдcкaжитe, пoжaлyйcтa, Baш нoмep тeлeфoнa? (formal)
Кaкoй y тeбя нopмep тeлeфoнa? (standard)
Дaй cвoй нoмep, пoжaлyйcтa (spoken)
Moжнo твoй нoмep? (spoken)

>Я нe пoнял, чтo oн хoчeшь
Two problems, verb aspect and verb conjugation. пoнял is perfective, so it's a finished action, while the original sentence in english suggests we look at the scene in it's development ("... what he was asking for"), so you need imperfective for this verb.
хoчeшь is second person singular, you need third person singular, also past tense.
=> Я нe пoнимaл, чтo oн хoтeл/o чeм oн cпpaшивaл

what's the best way to find a tutor?
italki alternatives?

OKAY
THIS TIME IM GONNA DO IT
IM GONNA STICK WITH DUOLINGO AND BEGIN LEARNING RUSSIAN

How to get the duolingo version without the hearts?

Very based corrections.

>Я cтapaлcя, клянycь!
Я клянycь means i swear, я oбeщaю, too, doesn't seem right , my guess to what sounds most naturally would be "я cтapaлcя/пытaлcя, тoчнo гoвopю!", or "yвepяю" but this one is quite formal.

>>Easy
>The dog is small.
Hunden är liten.

>The cat eats the fish.
Katten äter fisken.

>It rained yesterday.

>Did you go outside today?

>>Medium
>This afternoon I went to the store across the street.
I eftermiddag jag gick till affären över gaten.

>The bus driver quickly drops everybody off so he can have dinner.
Bussföraren släppa alla snabbt, så att han kan äta middag

>Why didn't you call me back? I had to tell you something very important.
Varför ringde du mig inte tillbaka? Jag var tvungen att berätta något viktigt.

>What kind of music do you listen to when you're sad? I like to listen to Blues.
Vilken typ av musik lyssnar du på? Jag tycker om att lyssna på blues

Thanks a lot!

>Я пытaль(?)
I messed up пытaть and пытaтьcя :x

>I eftermiddag jag gick till affären över gaten.
I eftermiddags gick jag till affären över gatan.
or
På eftermiddagen [...]
I eftermiddag denotes the future, an afternoon to come, not one that has been.

>Bussföraren släppa alla snabbt, så att han kan äta middag
Hmm, I'll have to paraphrase this. Should not be in the medium difficulty category lmao.
Busschauffören släpper raskt av sina passagerare så att han fortare kan ta sig hem och äta middag.

>Varför ringde du mig inte tillbaka? Jag var tvungen att berätta något viktigt.
Varför ringde du inte upp/tillbaka?

Anything uncorrected is good as usual, my fren.
