agnosticism is when you acknowledge there is no way to confirm an answer. the answer to "do you believe in God" for an agnostic is not "I don't know", it's "I have no way of knowing, so I don't bother with the question"

there's a fundamental epistemological difference between the two. you can also be agnostic towards an idea while believing it's more likely to be true. agnosticism is not a form of theism/atheism, it's a rejection of the premise of the question.

I don't define myself as an atheist because it is the religioustards especially the abr*hamics who call us as such and put us in a case. I know there is no god(s) so I have no reason to enter in the delirium of the abr*hamics. If I called myself an atheist, it would mean I base my existence according to the abr*hamics while in fact I don't give a fuck about those kind of people.

There are people who base their atheism in the presume that they can't know if god exists or not, following the argument of Russell's kettle. But that is not a necessity, because lack of knowledge can also move you to act as if something is true. A common example is that you have no way to disprove solipsism, but I doubt you are a solipsist.
