Not really. Vast swaths of this country have absolutely no reason to exist economically anymore and the people in them have nothing to do with their lives except shoot up or drink themselves to death.

The only places doing well are the suburbs outside of some major cities, but because they're the only places doing well expenses are so high that you sometimes think you'd be better off being one of the hopeless bums shooting up. It's miserable.
