DJT is the best Japanese language learning vtuber shitposting thread on Zig Forums for むっつりスケベ共 that are interested in everything Japanese (no politics ) Japanese speakers learning English are also welcome
The only way to learn 日本語: 1.無理があんのよ 2.Don't waste time/money on ゴミ like: -All textbooks like Genki, RTK etc. -All mnemonics like KLCC, Kanji Damage etc. -All online courses like Wanikani, Duolingo etc. -All language schools, classrooms etc. -Shitty english youtube channels, you're here to learn Japanese (日本語の森 is good) -Awful anki decks(only 2k/6k from the OP and a simple yomichan mining deck are good) -Spending 20 hours on Anki daily (you shouldn't spend more than 1-2 hours as a beginner and 30 minutes max after a few months, spamming easy is fine) -JLPT, Kanji Kentei tests etc. -Pitch accent(doesn't exist, you can say words however you want youtube.com/watch?v=Jb7DRvot9Uc ) -Learning how to write on paper (if you really want to waste time on this do it later once you know the basics) Avoiding these beginner traps will cut down your learning time considerably to less than 5 years if you learn every day and never give up 3.youtube.com/watch?v=3UV8OZj2olg 4.Spend a few days getting familiar with hiragana and katakana 5.A few months of Anki 6k vocabulary and your favorite grammar guide while reading something easy on the side 6.A few years of reading, listening, watching vtubers, shitposting in /djt/ and having your posts corrected by Jap flags, googling stuff you don't know and you're done! 7.Move out to Japan (optional) 8.Realize there's always more to learn and the ride never ends 絶対英語を学べる方法: 一、楽勝だから方法なんていらないだろう
I need help I keep repeating this cycle where I learn Japanese but then quit and go to Chinese But then I quit chinese and go back to Japanese It just keeps repeating, please help
You should stop cycling around. I understand though, I want to learn Chinese and Latin but when my eyes turn toward them I feel the Japanese slipping away. Find some tangible goal to work towards perhaps and then only put Japanese on hold after you accomplish it.
So what do I read for reading practice now that I've read 隣の席の佐藤さん? I need something with fairly simple language and with relatively fast moving story/fast payoff (so as not to get bored since I read slow as shit). Another romance which gets resolved within one or two short volumes would be the best.
is there something like satori reader / nhk easy, but with interesting content? It's probably a licensing problem, but this would be so efficient to learn.
Sorry I don't understand. Do you mean I should just read random stuff from there? I mean I would like something, where is audio for the whole story, correct furigana and correct translations that are easily accessible.
Hudson Russell
What experience specifically are you looking for? You can set up anime watching so that you can easily replay sentences that were said + have subtitles that can be parsed by Yomichan (which has furigana and some meanings inside of it)
A lot of Germans online seem to be rather against using German
Daniel Ward
If you use German it will attract the GOP audience and you don't want those guys around.

Fuck. Grand Old Party?

Well maybe my description was not clear enough and you guys don't know what satori reader is about. I'm already reading Manga with furigana and watch easy anime. But if you don't understand something, it's not always so easy to find the right translation for the context. It's just very convenient to have something that is professionally translated for language learners. I don't know I really love the concept of Satori Reader, but I just don't like their stories.
There is no such thing as right or professional translation, get the concept of translating out of your head because it's useless.

There is, don't listen to our Polish friend :)

you don't seem to get the point, watch the video.

Basically what pole said You can get this experience minus the translations by setting up the anime watching environment (animebook) Essentially you have to start understanding how the new language that you're learning (not specific to japanese) expresses things Japanese specifically being very far from IE languages expresses many things completely differently, so it's important to get accustomed to those ways
If you don't understand something, look up the grammar point. If the issue isn't with the grammar, just leave it be for now. Eventually through self reinforcement it will "click" at some point

I don't have time for your beginner trap videos, read Japanese
