Rent is €600 to live in a place with 4 other people in a shitty location. I have a car and Ireland has highest car tax in europe.
When I say its barey enough to live a different I dont mean I’m strapped for cash but that I am unable to save more than maybe €200 a month unless I forgo a social life.
And banks here are looking for up to 20% of a deposit on mortgages. So I’m looking at maybe 5 years+ of saving just to get a mortgage for a house
