Well in areas ISIS controlled they were. They are targeted by other terrorists as well. As government policy or by general people? No. They have some interesting local varities of Christians.

No that’s not it at all. Saddam was a Sunni and he killed Kurds because he was a Baathist. It’s hard to remember but just a few decades ago the Arab world was very Baathist and Arab supremacist.
