Died like a bitch for a little bitch.

i don't really want to save a prostitute who is willingly making money

she was a kid you dumb

Literally me.

Who worked as a prostitute. She wasn't a virgin like this loser simp.

*takes gf to see porn movies*
*kills pimp despite the girl telling him not to and to stop bothering her*
nah he was based

>a taxi driver
>buys a gun
>kills a rapist
why the fuck is this movie embraced so much

the protagonist is relatable that simple

cuz he died in the end, what makes it memorable is the death spiral, not these other facts you mentioned. if he liked being a taxi driver he wouldn't have the need to find some excuse to find meaning and he wouldn't chase something impossible

why are zoomers so illiterate with movies

>cuz he died in the end
>why are zoomers so illiterate with movies
actually do watch the movie retard

okay well the rest is right anyway

Italians

not true
as i said watch the movie

your whole point was the protagonist dying at the end retard

technically there is not much difference

its a actually a very well made movie if you ignore the pathetic weirdos who think there travis

that movie was the reason Reagan was shot

based

Why do people pretend that a film is good just because it stars De Niro and is directed by Scorsese? Mean Streets is terrible, Taxi Driver is boring, Raging Bull is boring, The King of Comedy is good, Goodfellas is good, Casino is just a worse remake of Goodfellas. Is there a bigger form of art that benefits from star power and critical opinion influencing the masses at the moment than the films made by Holywood?

>Mean Streets is terrible
filtered, mean streets is his best film

silence was good

What's good about it? Terrible camera work, fight scenes, story, characters. The pacing is awful as well. Harvey Keitel gives a solid performance, but that is all I remember.

I haven't seen anything from Scorsese post Wolf of Wall Street.

absolute cope post
mean streets is almost perfect
