Do people in your country pretend not to have access to vegetables?

vegetables are considered animal food in my cunt

I've seen niggers buy bananas from the dollar store

It's not about having access but availability of time. That's why women should've never entered the workforce.

Poor people literally don’t eat vegetables
You can give them out for free in ghettoes and they’d throw them away

Fuck whole foods. Food basics all the way.

I went to Giant Eagle and Walmart in the US

the vegetables are there but fuckin stupid troglodyte zombies walk right toward the plastic wrapped microwavable foods. Whole ass "stuffed peppers" and mashed potatoes (not powder, just microwavable shit) instead of buying bell peppers and potatoes

yeah no wonder they are so fat

access doesn't just mean physical location

it means the time knowledge and energy to acquire "healthy foods", unfortunately poverty and willingness to be disciplined are negatively corelated

does usa have some agency that tells people where to build grocery stores?

well depends on agency, there are strict zoning laws and they usually don't put them close together

as for op's picture, middle class white people tend to go to "whole foods" so they build them there

fast food is cheaper in general and more filling though.

theres also work hours and the state of the worker after work. When my work finished at 6-5 I had time but 7-8 you basically have not much room to do stuff since if you have work in the morning you need to sleep on time. Cooking for 1-2 is manageable but a family of 4-5 not so much.

doesn't literally everyone know that sugar filled shit causes diabetes but it doesn't stop people from chugging soda and milkshakes 7 days a week

i did say time
discipline, they know it's bad but it tastes so good

i haven't been wrong stop being nitpicky

>unfortunately poverty and willingness to be disciplined
The american poor in some instances literally don't have the time to either shop or cook. This has been studied at length.

so we can take away all poor peoples' agency and call them a victim of poverty that causes them to have poor discipline? or does poor discipline lead to poverty

To be fair a lot of money has been spent by the agricultural lobby to make people think saturated fat intake is the sole cause of obesity and that they should be chowing down on a shitload of carbs every day instead.

Only recently thanks to nuyorikan scum and the proliferation of american style whining. Plazas del Mercado (market squares) literally sell local produce far cheaper and fresher than walmart, you can find roadside shops selling produce and fruit, and yet I still hear people complaining about a lack of vegetables and fruits.
Also fuck people on welfare that whine about not getting enough while filling their carts with chips and microwave crap, being unhealthy and uneducated on what to eat or how to prepare it is literally imposible unless your IQ is bellow that of a common land snail.

the US food situation it truly a tragedy

I don't feel like that's the answer desu.

the latter, poor people can get out of it and many have

>tfw no vegetables and fruits thanks to american imperialism

That's survivors bias.

there's a pretty renown but still "average" supermarket chain here that offers digital purchases, so you go to their site, fill your shopping cart, choose when it should be delivered and how you're paying and everything
I used not to trust that service for fresh foods like meat and vegetables but with corona I ordered those and they're somehow better quality than what you generally find in their physical stores and on par with the local butcher/vegetables store

haven't had to go shopping in months, I have a script that automatically repeats that same order every 3 weeks so I can be absolutely lazy
and that's an actual service, I remember my grandparents just gave a list with a bunch of vegetables and meat to the local small business, and the owner agreed to walk by and drop their order, or have a kid do the delivery, since then that store actually got a full time delivery boy

instead of spending $50 every month on your cellphone data plan to look at instagram thots, offer it to your local store
better yet, come up with an uber eats kind of service but for your local farmer's market

Have you ever been to a grocery store in a poor area? All of their produce is wilted, and they get new shipment once a week at best.

I remember this bullshit being shoved down my throat in elementary school. Looking back, I can't believe this was ever a thing. Its tantamount to child abuse.

Thankfully, by the time I got to middle school they had replaced it with whatever the fuck this was supposed to be, which was an improvement in that it doesn't actually say anything.

What answer its acknowledging the problem. The issue is that americans are fundamentally wolves to their fellow men in a structured hierarchy of being.

I live in the middle of joggerland and there's a Neighborhood Walmart a 5 minute walk away full of cheap vegetables. I can get a bell pepper for less than a dollar and an onion for 50¢. 10 lbs of rice is like $5.

You can get grocery delivery for "free" here but the prices are always inflated to compensate

We had a school nutrition that would make presentations about shit I can't remember but no charts like that
