Could you survive 2 weeks in a Polish primeval forest without any help?

You have no tools, but you have appropriate clothing (good boots, a decent jacket), but NOTHING else

And don't fucking lie to me.
Don't tell you have skills you don't have.
Be straight with me.
Can you do it?

I should probably be upfront from the start that I could not do it. My only skill is that I know a lot about mushrooms, but if I'm dropped in there when it is not mushroom season I am probably fucked

I have absolutely no skills in that. But yes. I could survive two weeks in a forest because all I would need is water and even if I don't eat for two weeks it won't kill me.

>forest
Lol nigga pls I survived 3 weeks in the desert that's nothing

you can survive without food for 2 weeks. finding water should be easy enough. ofc you could do it. only difficulty could be warmth if it's in autumn/winter and you don't manage to start a fire.

how did you do it?

I don't think i could survive more than two days in winter, but in summer, it would not be impossible to survive two weeks. I spent one week physically fine without eating anything but water when i was mentally fucked.

Well 2bh I wasn't alone. we had enough resources plus we were stationary but still very difficult and very based ahem

>you don't manage to start a fire.
I could probably not do this if I didn't have any tools to start with. I would probably build some sort of dwelling at the bottom of a spruce

no. Almost no humans throughout all history could.

I could not handle feral Poles

As long as I dont come across wild boars or bears I think I could do it. Depends on the season I guess.

I burn the forest ofc then profit

No

on first day i will rape polish women

Yes. I've worked as a forest/park ranger for over 10 years. Doesn't matter if it's winter or summer, I'll do just fine.
If I can survive in the cold, dead and hostile forests of Norrland then Poland will be no issue.

yes, I could but only if I find a source of water, my autism made me learn about shrooms so I guess I could survive for a pair of weeks

>boars or bears
surely they would treat us with respect???

>temperate forest, with no dangerous animals pathetic

I know some stuff about plants and herbs here along with their uses, don't know much about Polish medicinal plants though, probably can gather up grubs or something if I get really hungry, maybe can make a trap for a mouse to eat maybe too, but don't know

user, we have plenty of those here in Sweden as well..
And moose, lodjur (lynx), wolverines and other critters.
Not to mention fucking ticks and our only venomous snake, the damn huggorm/vipera berus.

Have you ever left the city?

Attached: Vipera Bite Sweden.jpg (910x313, 266.59K)

no

give story please

based user, based job. What park you work in though, and do you do a lot of backcountry hiking and camping? Can you hunt and fish there?

I think like 80% swedes live close to forests without bears or wolves
boars on the other hand

How would survival even be difficult in a euro forest? No dangerous snakes and as far as I know predators are pretty much extinct everywhere

Attached: 400px-European_countries_by_forest_cover.jpg (400x325, 54.82K)

Only if Europe is occupied with 30000 humans and all the big animals exist

You can survive for two weeks even if you don't eat anything, so I would say yes. As long as I find some water

Attached: anime pancake.jpg (960x1280, 136.74K)

at least in temperate forests you can walk without much effort
so I would survive for a few months

Attached: images.jpg (620x465, 92.44K)

wow you're so badass

hypothermia would be the most common killer by far if you dropped an average person into a temperate european forest and they weren't allowed to leave. Dehydration could happen but I feel like most people would find a creek or a lake before they succumbed

You are stupid, every fruit here will kill you, in tropical forest fruit is good for you

Wild hogs are the most dangerous animals there. Poland doesn't have bears as far as I know

They do

I'm located in Björnlandet forest (bear land)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Björnlandet_National_Park

As a ranger I have full rights to both fish and hunt in the area. But everything has to be measured, weighted and officially reported to the Game & Wildlife center.

even here wild animals are far from your biggest threat. In poland, the climate would be even worse than most places here. You would most likely die of dehydration. If you didn’t, then you would probably die of dysentery. Unless you were taught by a herbalist that knows the plants in the area, you will probably starve. If you by sheer luck manage to get access to clean water and are able to find enough food to survive and build a shelter that can actually protect you from the elements, the winter would probably killed you. A human alone is one of the weakest most pathetic animals in the jungle. The strength of humanity comes from cooperation, just like with ants or hornets. If at any time you got sick or injured, you would die. If you got a small cut and it got infected, you would die.

tell us about the picnic baskets

stfu faggot he wasn't bragging or being obnoxious about it

you speak as if it were easy to find a fruit tree

He's done more than you

>150
It's nothing

It's the weekly sacrifice to the bear gods.

1 is enough to kill you

probably because after 2 hours some german eu ranger would cross my path and ask for id and permission to cross the forest.

have you ever been raped by a bear? Is bbc (big bear cock) really that good?

My dream is to one day become the dictator of the United Kingdom and oversee sweeping reforms leading to the reforestation of the whole island. I would plant oaks and shit over the WHOLE island (I would force the natives to do the work) and then reintroduce grey wolves, brown bears, wild boars, wild horses, and tons of beavers (they are already there, but I would introduce their numbers significantly (do you put a comma before "but" when writing in english?))
This would increase the quality of life of all british people as living in trees and shooting bows and arrows is their natual state of being but they have been robbed of their birthright by shipbuilders and later the industrial revolution.

>2 weeks
for sure but I'd barely eat anything
I just know about mushrooms and could trap small critters like squirrels and lizards but it wouldn't happen often enough for me to live out there indefinitely
and I'd immediately be fucked if it was winter

Nah, not been selected by the bear gods yet. Maybe one day.

I would call on the spirits of my ancestors

Routine military patrol. we had to hold a spot for a while, it was boring and nothing interesting happened

>I just know about mushrooms

You've got my vote

Wish we would do this at least with out existing national parks. Pretty much all of them are moors which are kept as moors by 'traditional' aka unnatural sheep farming. Let it go back to nature I say, been some successful rewilding here already in certain areas

Attached: 1539738037785.gif (332x360, 1.26M)

why the face? I go mushroom hunting every year and grow them at home too

>mushroom hunting

Attached: 15.jpg (800x588, 257.09K)

>i could just drink water
lol enjoy giardia and ecoli

if you can actually identify them thats fine, the way you said it though made it seem like a ungood idea.

Careful, there are things lurking in the moors.
t. currently collecting a folk tale about those "things"

>permission to cross the forest
Tell us more

not sure why they call it that here but they do
it's definitely more like foraging

because you are hunting the flowering genitals of colossal fungi
