Although I think it is fucking gay as fuck to just save the flag. What I do is I take a screencap of the post. It is much better than just taking the flag.
It also gives me proof that I did indeed collect it, because I can search the post on the archives and look at the flag again.

Back in the day when /flag/ was big there were a fuck load of map templates to put flags on as well. I was extra flags admin for some time too and there was an entire album of province templates
