My city (my hood specifically) has the largest ecuadorian community outside the Americas. We also have some peruvians and dominicans and every other s.american nationality in much smaller numbers.
They got better with time, lot of gangs and shit in the early years. On average I'd say hardworking (women especially) respectable people, I generally feel safe around them. They may be obnoxious at times (blasting loud music and random barbecues), many of them have a problem with alcohol and it's not uncommon for their younger females to get pregnant at 14

I have no idea why, but most people visiting any latin american country fall in love with it to a certain degree. I think it's because it is much easier to make friends with us latinos, but I'm not sure.

Why is Brazil included in this? Brazil is a clusterfuck, depending on where you are on the map you could have either the quality of life of a well-developed japanese city, or the short miserable life of an african child born on a village currently being raided by a warlord.
Being born here is gambling your fucking life, at least in Mexico or Costa Rica you can be sure you'll get a shitty life like everyone else, here you get to watch a bunch of people have better lives than you living in condos and huge houses and just learn to accept it and go back to your favela hut at the end of a hard day's work.
And God forbid you are born on the northeastern part, that's a speedrunning strat.

Not European or Asian, but we see Latin America as pretty SOVLFVL but kind of shit to live in due to those reasons you named. We also tend to romanticise Latin women as sex goddesses, but that's just exoticism bc most of us haven't met a Latin American woman before (at least until the last 5 years, when a bunch of Colombians and Brazilians showed up in my city)
