Did Barcelona do high density housing best?

I really don't get this meme by retards thinking Barcelona is different to any European city because it has squares.

All other Catholic cities have the same regulated height, max 3-4 stories not to be taller than the City's Cathedral. Here's Budapest.

I love my city :-)

It's all just apartments

Barcelona is the best city in the world

Barcelona looks more neat from that height, you can't argue with that. Like it's something from computer game, not real life. Idk how it feels for the people living there tho.

Not even the best city in Spain

It was the best city in 90s and early 2000s in Spain ,now it's Madrid

definitely not true

imagine you are drunk and have to orientate yourself

>Barcelona
Soulless

>Madrid
SOVL

At least every block and every building is somewhat unique. Better than suburban sprawl or commie blocks.

I have never once gone to Barcelona

God I wish it was a case here.

Odd, aerial photos of Barcelona always look creepy, but when you're on the streets it's beautiful.

I really loved Barcelona, but I find Madrid beautiful too.

I also spent two days in Cadaques this year. Cadaques is cute! CUTE!

I've also been there few weeks ago. I went with friends but it's more a romantic place

I went with friends too

I have a friend that bought a pretty big flat with really nice views for 250k a year ago

Where exactly? With a view of the bay?

why can't we all live like the Dutch?

Why is Spain so perfect?

Yes, and church. They are building up some more.

Both Barcelona and Madrid (save for the parks, museums, urban leisure areas and 3-4 higher class neighbourhoods) are shitholes and should be razed to the ground :)

Ah that's up the hill, a bit further from the town center

Barcelona has a squatter epidemic. I wish it was legal to kill them

More details? Do they squat in shitty neighbourhoods or even in normal ones? I heard Barcelona has one of the most competitive real estate markets in Europe
