Aramaic did not spawn Hebrew. Old Aramaic ( 900bc to 700bc ) is an offshoot of the Phoenician Alphabet. The Phoenician and Hebrew Alphabets are two dialects of Proto-Sinaitic ( 2100bc to 1500bc ).
