The Danish conscription thing isn’t exactly mandatory. You can defer it for any reason and if you have an excuse you can get out of it. Every Dane I have met that did their actually time, loved it. I kind of wish we had a similar program in Australia as it would give younger people coming out of highschool some direction and structure they might be lacking. If a Dane wants to correct me please do but I think it’s only like 6 months?

I meant that the idea of mandatory military service is based. But under the current governments of the weatern world, it falls short. By mandatory military service I mean serving your own country, not fighting for middle eastern kikes and sandniggers.

They send you a form to fill out where you can say yes or no. Probably they'll let you off if you say no unless they're really low on recruits.

Some countries such as my own has a required draft in times of military need, it's best that the youth knows how the military works or else that law is basically useless. They're not robbing you're youth its like a half a year of training

Conscription is unnecessary. If a war is really worth fighting in, people will voluntarily enlist on their own. Conscription is just a way to make people fight in wars that regular people don't benefit from. The same issue exists with the bribery our military uses to get people to enlist. Most enlistees don't enlist because they actually feel America's war efforts are worthwhile, but because they can get free college, free healthcare, etc. Our military would have a low enlistment crisis if we had a Nordic-style welfare state.

A required draft during time of need doesn't count as conscription in these maps. It's a draft during peacetime that does.
