Hair buns do NOT look good, they are not sexy, they do not make you look smart. Do not wear them except for utilitarian reasons like cooking. Also, hair buns are not a fashion statement; it looks tacky and cheap. As soon as you start wearing one, people begin judging you based solely on its lack of aesthetic value. Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise.
Also, please stop trying to convince others that your haircut is cool. It's lazy. It's juvenile. It's not stylish. If it actually looked good you wouldn't need to try convincing anyone.
If you must style your hair however you wish, consider going au naturel. It doesn't take much effort, and most importantly it gives you back control over your image without the delusions of grandeur of a hair bun.
Here's the bun devil fresh out of the oven telling you that your hair is too long. He wants you to conform to his idealized view of beauty. No thanks. Just go natural. He wants to control you So get rid of those ridiculous hair buns, and be happy for once in your lives.
Don't believe me? Go ask any girl you date if she thinks her hair looks great. She'll probably say yes. Then if she is wearing a bun tell her that you want to see it loose. What will happen next? She will very gladly remove it. Because it was something she wanted anyway, she will be free again.

this is what happens if you give a monkey a computer

Why do women wear long, loose hair? Same reason why they wear long nails, it signals that they are in control of their environment, they don't need to do hard labor, they are at the top of the societal totem pole. Long hair indicates power, buns indicate servitude. Meek hair is a sign of submission, this is true anywhere in the animal kingdom; although in birds it's usually the male who spends all day grooming his looks. Long hair also signifies femininity, which means more attention from men. In addition, women love long hair. They feel protected by it, safe and secure in the comforting floofiness of it. Whatever the case may be, long hair does seem to suggest that a woman is stronger, it's just nature speaking. So why are buns a thing? The thing is that social signals aren't always positive or conscious, there are many examples of self-deprecating signals our bodies let off if we aren't at our peak physicality and mentality to tell others that you should be avoided for the betterment of society. A bun indicates a woman is weak, fragile and vulnerable. By putting herself down with such a symbol, she shows everyone around her that she is not worthy of being respected, valued or even cared for. Buns show weakness. Not strength. Strength comes through determination and dedication to oneself. You can't expect someone to love you if you don't love yourself.
Girls don't wear their hair in a bun to look attractive for you.

As a guy with long hair, I see why girls wear a bun often.

Long hair is fucking ugly in general, literally overgrown hairs sticking out of your head. It looks grotesque. Of course, women are basically mental midgets so they don't see how bizarre it looks.

i got long hair too (about the middle of my back) and i absolutely hate even an ordinary ponytail, would much prefer to wear it loose even in the strong wind
tying a bun seems like a feat to me

Looking ugly out of some misguided sense of spite is not an argument in favor of buns. It's in fact the opposite, showing disdain towards another human being. It implies that you have nothing worthwhile to offer, that you're worthless, unworthy of respect and dignity. It means you find yourself feeling sadistic enough to enjoy watching other people suffer. Maybe you shouldn't put yourself in situations where suffering to others might occur, suffering like having to see buns. Bunting is wrong in general. Women should never wear buns unless absolutely necessary. I've written extensively about how awful they are here, so I won't repeat myself.
>Go ask any girl you date if she thinks her hair looks great. She'll probably say yes like half of the girls think no though lol

Yes, I do try hard, because my goals are lofty and my life goal isn't to simply survive. My purpose is to create the best possible world for future generations. To achieve these things requires sacrifice. To risk accusations of sentimentality, melodrama. Of overcredulity. Of softness. Of willingness to be suckered by a world of lurkers and starers who fear gaze and ridicule above imprisonment without law. Who knows that buns are wrong when they make us feel uncomfortable, insecure, inadequate.
Long hair >>>>> short hair for women so at least the autist has some taste.

most of the men have it lol he is right that men on average like long hair on women much more than short and that buns are usually meh, long hair is more a sign of fertility though than status hence why there's a custom that a married woman should hide her hair (head scarves are popular in a plenty of cultures) and also that's one of the reasons why old women tend to cut their hair short
Dominic Cox
>most of the men have it idk I don't give a shit about a girls hair its just there
