I have a 200€ Samsung and nobody (girl or guy) has ever judged nor cared. It works fine and does everything I want it to to. An iphone being a status symbol or representation of having money is such a third world idea.

I have samsung s10 and after a year of usage it's slower than my old iphone 8 not even mentioning the dogshit battery life

It’s an iPhone with the most bugs, the most unreliable battery, the shortest battery life, the worst processor that will casually explode in your hand. The list goes on. There is a reason why people still used 5 for years, some people still use it. 6 was a complete failure, 7 redeemed the company

I have a 6, x, and 11 pro. The 6 has a great camera and it's fast, only 100 bucks. But the battery life is dogshit, god forbid you're in a foreign city and need to rely on it. The x is great but the battery won't hold for more than a day. The 11 pro is by far the best, the camera is more or less the same as the x but the battery holds 2 days with extensive usage and charges in 20 minutes. Best phone in the world probably.

Xiaomi is best for the money by far
have been using one I bought for 140€ for 4 years now, still great battery, metal build quality, 1080p display (unlike 2020 iPhones for 500€), processor and performance still ok, camera is usable too during the day
shattered the display a year ago and the touchscreen is starting to give up so I think I'll replace it with another Xiaomi, they have a nice discount this Friday for a Redmi Note 9S

android options:
good brand that costs just as much as iphone but isn't supported after 2 years and sends all your info to google so they can build an advertising profile of you
chinese phone that is cheaper but has no maker support and sends all your info to the CCP in addition to google
