I never understood this whole america collapse/downfall thing. Yes we will be surpassed by the Chinese but we also don't have a global empire to lose like the euros did, nor do we have a multicultural union with dozens of different languages like the Soviets. We are just going to not be the top dog, but i'd be very surprised if America becomes irrelevant like europe
