This is copy-pasted from another thread but I really want people to know I heavily dislike the Philippines, they are cringe like all other SEA Islands. combine redditors with low iq facebook users and you get the online presence of south east asia. another thing to note is that they're the most comfortable thirdies in the world, so Indonesians and Filipinos actually have it much, much better than the Vietnamese, or Africans, even better than Americans in Detroit.
Now also take note that these islands hardly have any culture to them, and you wont find culture until you go north to Cambodia or south to Papua. Consider that as diverse as Asia is, SEA is basically the "American Midwest" of the east, soulless and mindless. what saves them from total consumerism is the fact that they dont have much money, although they still live VERY comfortable lives, even if their water is polluted for instance, they cant tell the difference and will sip on it until they die from whatever is in it

Their obsession with American/British pop culture is the saddest thing ever, almost as bad as their english skills.

Our equivalent to this stuff is the infamous Gendersternchen (Gender star[let]). Pretty much all German terms for jobs etc use the generic masculine, like "Schüler" (student). But well, it does include females as well. The female form would be "Schülerin". But recently, many (((media outlets))) have started to use it as "Schüler*Innen" in order to show that both are meant.

Truer words have never been spoken. You can't even look for prank videos or other funny stuff in English on YouTube anymore, you'll only find Filipinos and pajeets.
Pajeets speak many different languages and to understand each other have to use English so I partly excuse them. Filipinos are just too cringe.
