He's probably the only philosopher who's appreciation follows the Idiot-Soy-Chad bell curve. Edgy teens like him because he says edgy things, pseuds dislike him because he said edgy things, and wise boys know he's the most influential father of existentialism and that he is unmatched to this day as far as how much he directed the trends of Western philosophy.

If he was Polish at all, he was of mostly-German stock. Only northernmost Poles have that German head shape. Most Poles have a chinky-shaped head with high cheekbones and wide jaws.

Everyone in my mom's family, myself included, have high cheekbones. Thinking back on it, I guess you may have a point: I've seen plenty of low-cheekboned Poles as well.

Could be kraut blood. But it could also just be different phenotypes of the same ethnic group, every country has them.

Poland is also a country that has different founder's effects going on in different regions, like Italy. Baltic coast Poles look Scandinavian, southern Poles look generically European, and people randomly come out especially chinky due to random inheritance.
