Reminder that South Dakota still has a law that says it's 100% legal to kill natives if there are more than three on your property

Remember california is honorary dixie

how much do you know about the south and the civil war
is adding southerner to your identity important enough to you that you've educated yourself about this region's history and culture?
i certainly don't, altho arkansas gets lumped into the plains a lot since nobody knows we're all woodlands since nobody visits since we're a backwater jej

>i certainly don't
That being said I've not heard of this meme of Arkansas being considered a plains state

What kinds of grits are there beyond blue and yellow? If there are red grits too you'd have every primary color, which could be combined into any number of new colors. If so are there as many grits as colors in the world and could I eat all of them before I die?

Gonna need to try all of em in grit form. Fugg I should write a journal about their flavors and textures.

injuns in the southwest had songs they sang they were intricate instructions on when to plant certain colors of corn and how to sort the seed corn for the next year to ensure each strain of colored corn stayed pure
the reason for this was each type of corn (almost subspecies by how hard they were selectively breeding it) had a different time in the season it would ripen, so by growing different varieties it ensured the longest growing season possible and the maximum amount of food throughout the year

they didnt have ALL those colors tho, i think injun in the SW had 4

I'm gonna read up on that tomorrow. Goodnight Buckaroos.

Adios Bonzai
