My current gf has trouble with her hormones.
A high dose of birth control pills can cause cysts that don't go by themselves, which will fuck up your hormone production and render you infertile.
Prolactin is even more dangerous. They found that it was elevated and instantly suspected she has a tumor, which wasn't the case thankfully.
