Ukrainian has the letter "i" and "ї" which Russian doesn't have. I also think that they don't have "ґ" in Russian, but I'm not sure.

A1 Do you like literature? My books are wonderful. One reads for enjoyment and learning. She does not like the news, but I like newspapers. Yesterday she could not find any magazines.
A2 We enjoy reading together while drinking coffee. I have forgotten my books for our meeting. I should wear a coat to go the library. Many books there are very old. Some are quite smelly. How long have you (plural) been visiting this place? I will help you find that book you said. The older black edition.
B1 Excuse me, I am not sure I understand correctly. Did you mention that you were able to read Dutch? Really? For how long did you live in Amsterdam? What have you been doing since you left the university there? I will be coming here again in two days’ time. Perhaps we could meet? Why? I ought to finish my dissertation’s literature research. I believe I can write it more quickly here than if I stayed home. The chapter is so long it’s almost scary. There’s a good chance I will have to hand it over later than I wanted.

In spite of its popularity, I feel that Academia is a very overrated institution, which appeals mainly to new students and parents. Nonetheless, as far as I am concerned this has nothing to do with the issue of my work. If I understood you correctly, you’ll also be coming here during the next weeks? I’ll call you at six. Will you have arrived by then? I will be coming straight from home. If I wasn’t working in July, I would have everything ready by now. I wish I had more foresight, for I knew I would be in risk of being late.
C1 Well it would be all right if they came out and said it, but I have a bit of a problem with my parents not being so clear about this whole master’s thing. No doubt they’ll bring up the topic again in Christmas Eve as usual. I assume you’ll also be going home for Christmas, right? Some people might argue that almost all students here will. If I had taken my studies more seriously last year, I’d have more to tell my parents once I meet them, don’t you think? About the book you recommended me? It’s really good. It’s concise, focused, readable. I actually found it awe-inspiring. Especially because, despite everything, he continued to tackle some of the toughest peaks. Das ist richtig gut. Das ist kompakt, fokussiert und lesbar. Das habe ich eigentlich ziemlich beeindruckend gefunden. Insbesondere weil, trotz alles, er stieg weiterhin einige der schwersten Gipfel. Trotz des klaren, auf ihm gerichteten, Risikos, er insistierte darauf, damit weiterzugehen.
